Charles Flowers

Charles Flowers is a poet, editor, and arts administrator whose debut poetry collection, The Idea of Him, was published in 2020. A graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Oregon’s MFA program, he founded BLOOM literary journal and served as Executive Director of the Lambda Literary Foundation. From 2018 to 2020, he was Poet Laureate of West Hollywood, where he has lived since 2010. His poems have appeared in Gulf Coast, Barrow Street, Indiana Review, and Puerto del Sol.
