Lauren Neefe

Lauren Neefe studies letters and seriality in the interplay of manuscript and print. Her book project, "Serial Imagination," uses letters and letter-writing practices to track the instability of identity with the emergence of the author in print in the early nineteenth century. She is currently completing an essay titled “The Apostrophic Relay: Purloining the Lyric I of Coleridge's Dejection Ode.” Her poems have appeared most recently in Loose Change and as part of a poetry-performance collaboration between Emotive Fruition and WNYC's Radiolab. She is the executive producer of two podcasts that launch in fall 2015, 4.33@Tech and Flash Readings with the Brittain Fellows.
