Chris Washington

Chris Washington is Assistant Professor of English at Francis Marion University. He has written on Lord Byron, John Clare, Jane Austen, and speculative realism for Essays in Romanticism, European Romantic Review, Romantic Circles Pedagogy Commons, and Literature Compass. He is co-editor, with Anne McCarthy, of Romanticism and Speculative Realism, forthcoming from Bloomsbury Press and the editor of the collection, “Teaching Romanticism in the Anthropocene” for Romantic Circles Pedagogy Commons. He is finishing a book manuscript entitled, “Romantic Revelations: Visions of Post-Apocalyptic Life.”
