2184. Robert Southey to John Murray, 25 November [1812]

2184. Robert Southey to John Murray, 25 November [1812] *
My dear Sir
I find the proofs of Nelson [1] have not been sent, as I wished them to be, to my brother. I am very desirous that they should pass under a sailors eye, – blunders may easily escape me, in spite of all my care, which he would immediately detect. – Mr Croker will I dare say have the goodness to frank to him the sheets which are struck off: we may make an errata of any triffling errors, & I believe nothing will be found so lubberly as to require a cancel.
Capt Southey, St Helens, – Auckland is my brothers direction.
Yrs very truly
R Southey.
