Dear Sir

Yesterday I received your parcel. Accept my thanks for the bound copy. The first plate, as it now stands, is a very pleasing one, & I hope the book will obtain the reputation & the success which it deserves. [1] 

When next I write to Messrs Longman I will desire them to pay over the price of six copies from my account to yours.
